Empowering your people through the learning of new, unfamiliar skills. Spend a bit of time outdoors with your colleagues learning how to carve spoons or butter knives from wood. Let our experienced craftsperson guide you through the steps and help you to find your inner woodcarver. Making things is empowering; knowing that you created something from a blank piece of wood and that you trusted your ability to learn how to use carving knives builds confidence. Being outdoors in nature causes the heart rate to slow down, allowing time to unwind, think and breathe.
This workshop takes 3 hours and is suitable for teenage scout groups, corporate, community and hen/ stag parties. Workshop sizes are limited to 12 people. All materials and equipment will be supplied along with some light refreshments.
