April to October, forest, meadow, hedgerow, Lough Derg

This experience lasts for about 1.5 - 2 hours. The plan is for the group to meet at a forest or location of your choice within North Tipperary, East Clare or North Limerick. We will go for a walk and I will show you which plants and fungi are good to eat; which ones make good herbal teas; which ones would flavour your homemade wines and which ones you should avoid.

This experience lasts for about 4 hours. The plan is for the group to meet at a forest or location of your choice within North Tipperary, East Clare or North Limerick. We will go for a walk and I will show you which plants and fungi are good to eat; which ones make good herbal teas; which ones would flavour your homemade wines and which ones you should avoid. In the process we will collect up a basketful of deliciousness that we will cook and make tea from. We will then eat what we have cooked, be that greens, fruits, seeds, roots or mushrooms, whatever we are blessed enough to find.

The season for this experience starts at the beginning of April and ends at the end of October. Each part of the year has something different to offer.

Wreath making, eco-printing, plant imprints, slide flute crafting. Empowerment, nature connection, builds manual dexterity.

Day long workshops

This workshop has been designed to allow people of all abilities to leave the workshop with a few skills and with an appreciation of the delightful array of craft materials that nature so amply provides. This experience lasts for about 6 hours and includes a picnic style lunch that will most likely include a foraged element. Our site in North Tipperary is well set up for this workshop with outdoor shelters and easy access to craft materials. The day will start with a nature meditation and walk to forage for materials. The crafts on offer for this day include the making of all natural door wreaths, eco-printing using natural materials as dye-stuff, plaster of Paris imprints of our local flora, and some super simple flute making. The season for this experience starts at the beginning of April and ends at the end of October, the season can be extended to all year round if you have an indoor venue in mind.

1.5- 2 hour activities

At a location of your choice, we will go for a walk to forage for craft materials. Your group will all be doing the same craft. This workshop can take place at any time of the year. Your choice of craft can be any two of the following:

• Natural, seasonal door wreath making

• Eco-printing and dyeing with natural dyestuffs

• Plaster of Paris imprints (outprints) of local flora

• Slide flute making

• St. Bridget's cross making

The cost for this workshop is between 220 - 300 Euro depending on how far I have to travel. There is a 5 Euro materials charge per person. I can accommodate group sizes up to 10

Spoon Carving Workshop (4-6 hours)

This workshop would suit people with a certain level of dexterity and stamina. The session will start with a spot of mindful meditation, followed by Dee showing the process of making a spoon blank. After a quick cup of tea, you will start to make your own spoon from a pre-prepared blank. There will be a lunch break and hopefully you will all leave with a spoon.
