UPCOMING EVENTS
Country Wine Workshop. 13 April,
The Barn at Bollingbrook Hill, Co. Tipp
I'll be giving the first wine workshop of the year here in our barn in lovely Tipperary. At this workshop we will learn how to make a fruit wine using frozen fruits, flower wine, mead and sparkly beer style wines. We will cover everything from recipes, essential equipment, hydrometer use, techniques, skills and sterilisation. I do not use sulphites in the making of my wines; at this workshop I will share how to make good, drinkable country wines without sulphites. Check out my feedback page to see what workshop participants had to say about it!
Foraging walk and wild tea making
Saturday 15 June, The Barn at Bollingbrook
We will spend some time foraging for plants around the garden here at our spot in north Tipp. We will then turn these into teas and cordials. We will have a herbal tea party while learning how to make cordial, learning about medicinal herbs and how to ferment and dry herbs for later use. See my feedback section for what participants have said about this workshop.
This workshop starts at 10am and finishes at 2pm. A light lunch will be provided.
