TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING AND ATTENDING AN EVENT OR WORKSHOP
Cancellations
Please read these terms carefully as your booking on my workshops is subject to your agreeing with these terms.
All ticket sales are final, I am unable to offer refunds or rescheduling. If you are unable to attend, you may gift your booking to a friend, please give me a heads up if that is the case.
In the unlikely event that I have to change the date of an event due to severe weather warnings or government guidelines, or for any other reason: I will offer an alternative date. If that does not work for you, I will issue you with a voucher which can be redeemed against a future Rerooting the Future workshop or event. Refunds will not be offered.
Inclusivity
I want these workshops to be as inclusive, safe and welcoming as possible.
We do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of age, race, colour, gender, gender expression, religion, disability, or sexual orientation.
The homebrew workshops are not suitable for folks under the age of 18, for obvious reasons.
Children may be welcome at certain events such as foraging walks provided they are supervised by an adult.
I expect each participant to show respect towards each other and towards whatever space we are occupying.
Please help to make sure that everyone is heard and seen so that each of us can have a good time at the workshop.
Should you live with mobility issues or another disability, please get in touch by email (rerootingthefuture.ie) prior to booking your place so that we can work out the best way to accommodate you.
Should financial difficulty prevent you from booking a place on a workshop, please get in touch by email (rerootingthefuture.ie) as I am sometimes able to offer work-exchange, barter or/ and a partial payment option. (Especially possible if the workshop takes place at my place in Tipp or on public lands).
Health issues, Allergies, Medical Conditions
It is your responsibility to let me know (rerootingthefutre@gmail.com) in advance of the event about any health issues you may have that could affect your participation in the workshop. When I say health issues I mean physical, mental or emotional that you may have, including relevant allergies (bee stings, anaphylaxis, food allergies, etc.,) and other medical conditions which could affect your own safety or could jeopardise the comfort and safety of others.
If you suffer from known anaphylaxis allergies, please be sure that you bring your epi-pen and ensure that you show me where you keep it in the event of an emergency.
Food
If food is offered at the event you are booking, please email me as soon as you book if you have food intolerances, allergies, dietary requirements etc.
Please note that it is recommended that a small amount should be tried the first time to determine personal tolerance.
I cannot accept responsibility for allergic reactions that you may have, especially to wild foods. I will alert you to possible allergens in any food that I provide or direct you to try.
Staying in touch and Data privacy
Ensure that you have access to the email address you provide at the time of booking. I use an automated system to manage all of my bookings and communications to you via Clearbookings where you booked your ticket. If you email rerootingthefuture@gmail.com with your query, I will reply using that email.
With regards to your personal details, under no circumstances, will I ever share your details with any third party. Privacy is important to me.
If you need to contact me, please email me.
If you wish to join my mailing list (sporadic, infrequent email notification of events and other items of interest) you can do so here. https://www.rerootingthefuture.ie/newsletter
